Tuesday Toolbox: Hunter MillerNovember 27, 2018Hunter Miller is runner-up no more! After the 32-year old from Texas lost the XC1 UTV title to his brother (Cody Miller) twice, he now has a championship of his own. The brothers are former ATV motocross racers who ended up in UTV racing almost by accident. They first came to GNCC racing in 2016, and one of the pair has won the title ever since. I talked with Hunter about how he finally netted his first title and how he came to race UTVs in the first place. With this being the last year of UTV racing at the GNCCs, I was especially interested in his plans for next season as well.

With Thanksgiving taking place last week and folks busy spending time with their families, I figured that instead of posting an ultra-quick version of Quick Fill telling everyone to just enjoy their Thanksgiving and come back next week, that we would simply wait a bit and post a special Monday version of Quick Fill. That would make this week a double Quick Fill week, as we’ll have our traditional Thursday edition as well. Now this seems a bit crazy as things are pretty slow during these opening stages of the off-season and there’s not a lot to talk about but with the GNCC banquets coming up this weekend, we’ll have more to discuss later this week.

The American’s result took him to the overall runner-up spot in what was a supremely successful event for KTM, with teammate Steward Baylor Jr. finishing runner-up in the class.

AMSOIL Ironman GNCC Raises Over $10,980 For Breast Cancer AwarenessNovember 15, 2018The 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, concluded, October 27 and 28, with the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Since 2010, this event has been deemed a “pink race” in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with several partners participating to raise money for the cause.
