Competition Bulletins

From time to time it may become necessary to amend, add or clarify a GNCC rule, regulation or policy during the race season. Although GNCC Racing prefers not to make rule changes once the season starts, in many cases changes are necessary in order to maintain fair and safe competition. Such changes are made through the issuance of Competition Bulletins, which are subsequently incorporated into the GNCC Rules.

RLT Competition Bulletin 2020-15: Updates to Pro Motocross, GNCC and ATVMX Schedules July 20, 2020 GNCC has completed 8 of its 13-round season and is on summer break for Bikes and ATVs. The GNCC Specialized eMTB Series returns to competition on Saturday, August 1st in conjunction with the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN.
Competition Bulletin 2020-10: Horns Allowed For WXC Competitors July 17, 2020 For the 4x4 Pro and WXC classes only, no more than one (1) horn device is permitted for alerting competitors that are about to be overtaken.
RLT Competition Bulletin 2020-14: Update to Pro Motocross, Loretta Lynn, GNCC and ATVMX Schedules July 8, 2020 The upcoming Round 8 of the GNCC Racing Series previously announced as the Hoosier in Crawfordsville, IN, has been relocated to the High Voltage in Maidsville, WV. This move was necessitated as a result of the postponement of the Ironman Pro Motocross National previously set for July 18 at Crawfordsville, IN.

RLT Competition Bulletin 2020-12: Update to Pro Motocross, GNCC and ATVMX Schedules June 1, 2020 Round 6 of the GNCC Racing Series will be held the weekend of June 13/14 at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, PA. This will be a Specialized eMTB round. The event will be conducted in compliance with social distancing guidelines and best practices as issued by the Safe-to-Race Task Force.

RLT Competition Bulletin 2020-6: Safe-to-Race Task Force Announced April 15, 2020 The Race Leadership Team has appointed a Safe-to-Race Task Force to manage our sport’s race to recovery. Members of the committee include representatives from AMA, AMA Pro Racing, Feld Entertainment, Ignite Partners, MX Sports Pro Racing, USMA, and others experienced and knowledgeable in motorsports event operations and management.
