Tuesday Toolbox: Mike PenlandFebruary 17, 2009Mike Penland is the man many credit with launching GNCC Utility ATV racing into the serious business it is now. With 11 GNCC Utlity Championships, Penland packs quite a resume, and his dedication to his sport gets him a lot of respect in the pits. Penland represents the true GNCC Utlity racer, because he literally took a quad out of his garage and started racing it, whereas nowadays people buy their machines for the sole purpose of racing.
Penland has been at this for a long time and has some good stories to tell, so we rounded him up for an interview.
