His performance at Round 2, held March 17 in Washington, Georgia, further solidified the championship points lead he earned at Round 1 in Florida.
Maxxis ATV Report - The GeneralMarch 20, 2013Maxxis rider Chris Borich took the XC1 Pro class win at the Maxxis General on Saturday. Round 2 of the GNCC series was held March 16 at Aonia Pass Motocross Park in Washington, Georgia.
Team ITP Report - The GeneralMarch 20, 2013Team ITP ATV and side-by-side vehicle racers earned four class victories, the morning overall and a total of eight podiums at round two of the 2013 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series held at Aonia Pass in Washington, Ga. Leading the way was defending Super Senior (45+) class champion Dave Simmons who won his class and also took his second straight morning overall on ITP tires. Team ITP racers also notched its three other class victories in the afternoon session, taking the checkers in A 22+, A/B 40+ and College B (16-21).
Can-Am Report - The GeneralMarch 20, 2013Can-Am® 4x4 ATV racers swept all five 4x4 classes and placed two riders on the overall morning podium at round two of the 2013 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series in Washington, Ga. In the first round of side-by-side vehicle racing in Georgia, a total of 11 Can-Am Maverick™1000R racers competed with four Can-Am vehicles earning a podium finish in each of the four GNCC “UTV” classes.
Polaris / Coastal / CST / National Guard / Yoshimura / Yokley Racing Report - The GeneralMarch 20, 2013Polaris / Coastal / CST / National Guard / Yoshimura / Yokley Racing Team driver William Yokley finished 1st Overall and 1st in the XC1 Modified Class. Team driver Scott Kiger finished 4th Overall and 4th in the same class. There were 46 total entries including 22 XC1 Modified teams. William’s guest passenger was his wife Tina, and Scott’s passenger was Tyler King.
