Several factory supported riders were on the starting line with Russell, but the Suzuki pilot was able to control the two hour race.

We continue through the 2016 summer break and by this point, I’m sure there are some of you who are already beginning to feel as if summer break is dragging on. The official count until we return to racing at Unadilla is 65 days, which may seem like a really long time but it doesn’t sound that long when you put it in some other forms. That’s also 2 months and 3 days, or 9 weeks and 2 days, 1560 hours, 93,600 minutes, 5,616,000 seconds, or if you want to get extremely technical; 17.76% of the entire year of 2016. When you look at it in some of those figures, 65 days really doesn’t seem that far away.

The rough and rugged conditions created a grueling track for the AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC that lived up to the nickname of “America’s Toughest Race.” After three hours of intense racing it was FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell taking home the coveted win and earning his sixth win of the season.

Coastal Racing Husqvarna's Craig DeLong Shines at Snowshoe GNCC, Sipes Returns to Racing After InjuryJune 30, 2016Husqvarna-backed Coastal Racing Team's Craig DeLong had a stand-out performance on Sunday with a 2nd place finish in the XC2 Pro Lites Class at Round 9 of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series. DeLong also matched his best overall finish of the season with 5th place among the world's fastest off-road racing talent. Additionally, team rider Ryan Sipes returned to racing after an injury to capture 6th in XC1 Pro, while Layne Michael finished 7th in the XC2 Pro Lites Class.
