Quick Fill #35: This Week in GNCCSeptember 27, 2018Welcome to Quick Fill.
Finally, its time to go GNCC Racing! This weekend we roll into the first-ever Mason-Dixon GNCC, which will be taking place on two former GNCC properties. It’s a bit unfortunate that it has been raining a bit on and off this week and it’s going to make for some wet conditions this weekend, but we hope that things just get better as the weekend goes on. The current forecast says we’re just about done with the rain and we’re looking to a good weekend forecast. It is going to be wet and slick but this is a fun course for sure, and a long one at that!

Tuesday Toolbox: Austin SentellSeptember 25, 2018Every so often, when I run low on ideas for Tuesday Toolbox interviews, I put out what is basically an open casting call on Facebook. Riders contact me and explain why they believe they should be featured in a Toolbox, and if they are compelling enough, we set up an interview. Austin Sentell, a sixteen-year old from Traveler’s Rest, South Carolina is racing 200 C Schoolboy this year. He pointed out that it’s been awhile since we featured any C riders in a toolbox, and that he would be an especially good one to talk to since it is his first full year racing the GNCC series.

Quick Fill #34: This Week in GNCCSeptember 20, 2018Welcome to Quick Fill.
With another week in the books, we’re closer to finally getting back into the swing of GNCC Racing with next weekend’s Mason-Dixon GNCC in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania. This promises to be one of the coolest events of the season as this “new” event is actually a combination of two older GNCC events. If you haven’t already heard, the Mason-Dixon will consist of the Mathews Farm property that held GNCC events from 2001-2003 and will be crossing to the legendary High Point Raceway property, which hosted GNCC events for many years in addition to being a long-standing staple in the Pro Motocross series.

Tuesday Toolbox: Cody BarnesSeptember 18, 2018This is only Cody Barnes’ first season racing in the FMF XC3 125 Pro-Am class, but his win came early in the season and then a handful of podiums attracted the attention of Beta USA’s factory team. Cody has been picked up by Beta for the remainder of this season and next season as well. I ran into him at a local race this weekend and was curious how this deal came about, as well as how his summer break has gone and his thoughts on the new bike and his season so far.
New Zealand's Rachel Archer to Race Mason-Dixon and Powerline Park GNCCSeptember 18, 2018NZ’s Rachael Archer is a force to be reckoned with, on and off the track. The gutsy Cross-Country/Enduro rider has more courage, determination and commitment to achieve her racing goals than many 16 year olds still at school, producing successful results in NZ and offshore.
