The empire state treated the KR4 team to perfect race conditions with a dry racecourse and plenty of sun. The team welcomed new faces to the both the Arrive-n-Ride and grassroots racing divisions, while the AMSOIL Garage mechanics helped local riders make last minute tune-ups to their bikes before hitting the woods.

Held in Odessa, New York, the Tomahawk GNCC showcased challenging terrain but both of the series’ reigning champions maintained a solid pace for all three hours as they continue to race toward their bid for a title repeat in 2018.

The weeks continue to tick by as we roll through the 2018 GNCC Racing season. We now head into round eight with the Dunlop Tomahawk GNCC in Odessa, New York. This venue has proved to provide some interesting storylines in its short history on the GNCC schedule and this year promises to produce more of the same. On the ATV side, there has only been one single rider to claim overall wins at the Tomahawk GNCC and that’s Walker Fowler. In the three previous seasons this event has been on the schedule, Fowler has claimed the Tomahawk win each season and will ultimately be hungry to make it four for four this weekend.

Tuesday Toolbox: Leon HansonJune 5, 2018Leon Hanson, a 27-year-old mechanic for the Rockstar Husqvarna, was the winner of GNCCs first-ever eMTB race at The Wiseco John Penton GNCC on Friday evening. Though he started out on dirt bikes, for the last two years he has been involved in (regular) mountain bike racing around his home of Murrieta, California.
