Inaugural Pit Bike State Championship to Take Place at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mason-Dixon GNCCAugust 30, 2019The second annual running of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mason-Dixon GNCC in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania will see an additional event added to an action-packed weekend of racing. The inaugural Pit Bike State Championship is slated to take place on the evening of Saturday, September 28, 2019 and will see ten different states take to a unique pit bike racecourse to crown a Pit Bike State Champion.
Quick Fill #28: This Week in GNCCAugust 29, 2019Welcome to Quick Fill. Another week is in the books and the summer break is that much closer to coming to a close. The excitement of returning to GNCC Racing is really beginning to build and we’re looking forward to the Black Sky GNCC. First off, there’s been rumors floating around about Black Sky but here’s the fact, we ARE going racing at Black Sky! Rob Johnson, the landowner, has been working hard to put in a couple of new roads to make the entrance into the facility even better. These additions will tremendously improve the ingress and egress of the facility and of course, we’ve all got our fingers crossed for good weather.
Tuesday Toolbox: Joseph CunninghamAugust 27, 2019Joseph Cunningham has had an incredible season! Not only did he wrap up the YXC1 title and win every single GNCC so far, he also beat Steward Baylor’s record for consecutive overall wins! Cunningham is 15 years old from Murray City, Ohio. He rides for Tely Energy on a KTM, and will be moving up to the afternoon race next season. Keep an eye on this young rider, as it looks like he has a bright future in racing.
Quick Fill #27: This Week in GNCCAugust 22, 2019Welcome to Quick Fill. Summer break is on its final leg as we’re now just around 3 weeks away from returning to racing with the Black Sky GNCC in Harpursville, New York. This event was slated to happen in 2018 but torrential rains flooded the facility leading up to the event. At that point, the facility lacked usable roads to get in and out of the pit area, which is very dangerous in the event of an emergency. Therefore, this would force the cancellation of the event last season. This year we’re excited to return and the landowner, Rob Johnson, will be hard at work soon putting in several roads. We’ve also got our fingers crossed for dry weather, so we’ll hope that holds!
Tuesday Toolbox: Luke ShepherdAugust 20, 2019At High Voltage, Luke Shepherd was able to win his first-ever Amateur Overall. The 28-year-old ATV racer from Marion, Ohio, has overcome a lot to get to this point. A devastating injury while racing motocross temporarily derailed his career, and this season hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park for him either. However, refusing to give up and having a great support crew has made all the difference. Things are definitely looking up for Shepherd!
Quick Fill #26: This Week in GNCCAugust 15, 2019Welcome to Quick Fill. First and foremost our apologies for the lack of Quick Fill posts the past few weeks. Things have been pretty crazy preparing, running and cleaning up down at Loretta Lynn’s, but things have finally began to slow down a bit and we’re ready to start counting down the days until we go GNCC Racing once again. However, we still have a few events to get through including this week’s Budds Creek Pro Motocross and of course next weekend’s Pro Motocross event at Ironman. So, while the GNCC summer break is in full swing, there’s no break for the Racer Productions staff!
Russell Clinches 2019 Full Gas Sprint Enduro ChampionshipAugust 12, 2019FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell became the first repeat champion in Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series history over the weekend with a dominant 1-1 performance at the penultimate round in Young Harris, Georgia. Winning six of the first seven rounds, Russell was able to wrap up the Pro title with one round remaining in the 2019 series.

High Voltage Youth Bike Race ReportJuly 19, 2019The High Voltage GNCC, round nine of the 2019 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, took place July 6th and 7th in Dunkard, PA. While this marked the first-ever High Voltage event, the venue is located close to the Mason-Dixon GNCC, which the series will visit in the fall. Naturally, it has very similar terrain with rolling hills, soil with plenty of clay and tree roots, which gives GNCC racers a familiar feeling while out on the racecourse.
