Yamaha Burr Oak: ATV Race ReportSeptember 27, 2020The 2020 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, headed back to Millfield, Ohio for round 10, Yamaha Burr Oak GNCC, on Saturday, September 26, 2020. The Burr Oak GNCC was established in 1990, ultimately turning into The John Penton in early 2000’s, which makes this venue the longest-running GNCCs on the circuit.
Quick Fill #32: This Week in GNCCSeptember 25, 2020Welcome to Quick Fill. It’s time to go racing once again! This weekend we’re back at Sunday Creek Raceway, home of The John Penton GNCC, but this time we’re calling it the Burr Oak GNCC. Why call it Burr Oak? Well, that was the original name of the event when it was added to the schedule back in 1990. With it currently serving as the oldest event on the schedule, it only seemed fitting to honor the original name. Also, there were a number of times that the Burr Oak was held around this same time of the year. So, while The John Penton traditionally seems like a bit of a throwback race, this time is no different.
GNCC Racing Returns to Ohio For Yamaha Burr Oak GNCC This WeekendSeptember 23, 2020This weekend the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, will host round 10 of the 2020 season at Sunday Creek Raceway in Millfield, Ohio for the Burr Oak GNCC. The Burr Oak event name comes from the Burr Oak State Park located just up the road in Glouster, Ohio.

Tuesday Toolbox: Steward Baylor Jr.September 22, 2020The 2020 season has been a roller coaster ride for all of us, but perhaps nobody so much as Steward Baylor Jr. After coming up just short of the win at The General, he unexpectedly parted ways with his team, and missed the next five rounds. Besides the loss of a ride, there were some injuries and other issues that Baylor plans to address in a video project he and Mason Rader have been working on. After securing a one-race-at-a-time deal through AmPro Yamaha, Baylor came out swinging with something to prove at the Mountaineer, taking home the win and inspiring countless people in the process.
