GNCC Racing Returns to South Carolina for FMF Camp Coker Bullet
Neal and Kelley Aim to Take Round 5 Wins 

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 7, 2022) – This weekend the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, heads to Society Hill, South Carolina for the FMF Camp Coker Bullet, at Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve. This event will host round five of the 2022 season, with special events on Saturday evening including ePeeWee (STACYC) Racing, Brown’s RV GNCC Fishing Tournament, and a Supercross Viewing party. 

On Saturday, Magna1 Motorsports’ Brycen Neal will be aiming to earn his third win of the season. Neal has earned two wins in South Carolina this year, and he is looking to earn another overall win this weekend. Neal currently sits second in the points standings with a four point gap between himself and first.

WFR/GBC/Fly Racing/Yamaha’s Walker Fowler has also earned two overall wins this season but will be looking to earn this third this weekend as well. Fowler and Neal have been battling for the first place position throughout the first four rounds of 2022, and both will be hoping to earn the coveted win this weekend.  

Earning his first podium finish at the last round was Getter Nissan/Kenda/Action Off-Road/Richardson Racing’s Cole Richardson. This weekend Richardson will be looking to battle at the front of the pack and hope to take his first win of the season. GBC/Fly Racing/Nine 2/BNR’s Devon Feehan will be looking to land back on the podium after finishing fourth for the past two races. Pierce Performance/GBC Tires/Fly Racing’s John Glauda Jr. rounded out the top five at the conclusion of the last race and remains fifth in the points standings. This weekend Glauda Jr. will be aiming to battle to battle at the front the pack once again and make a run for a podium finish on Saturday afternoon.

In the XC2 Pro-Am class Action Off-Road/Pro Graphx/Pierce Performances’ Jay Shadron is aiming to keep his momentum rolling after earning wins at the first four rounds. Shadron is hopeful he can keep the wins coming, but he will have to keep an eye out on the rest of the competition including Action Off-Road/DIRTNASTY/Twizted Vision’s Wyatt Wilkin and Hetrick Racing/Kenda/Elka/HMF’s Steve Harrell. Wilkin and Harrell are looking to put a stop to Shadron’s winning ways with their sights set on battling for that number one spot.

Looking to earn his third straight 4x4 Pro class win is Kenda/Nine 2/Custom Axis’ Cody Collier. Collier is looking to earn some valuable points in the points standings as he currently sits third. Leading the points after four rounds is Pro Row 784/GBC Tires/BNR Motorsports/Victory Golf Cart’s Brandon Frazier in the 4x4 Pro class. This weekend Frazier is looking to battle for his second win of the season and maintain his points lead in the class. Can-Am/Tennessee. Towing/BNR Motorsports’ Robbie Pecorari finished third two weeks ago but is hoping to turn his luck around and battle at the front for what could be his first win of the season.

JMR/GBC/DWT/Moose Racing/Action Off-Road/Custom Axis’ Katelyn Osburn earned her first win of the season at round four, and after a little bit of a rough start to the season she is aiming for another win this weekend. Team Pickens/Fly Racing/GBC Motorsports/Yamaha’s Traci Pickens sits third in the points, but after a couple of third and second place finishes, she is also hoping to battle for a win in South Carolina. Sitting second in the points is Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tires’ Jessica Elioff after she earned a win at round two in Florida. On Saturday, Elioff will be aiming to battle at the front and earn what could be her second win of the season.

Micro ATV, Motorcycle and Youth ATV Racing will kick off the weekend on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Kody Buckhannon and Bryson Dickerson battling for the Micro ATV overall win, while Karson George looks to take an overall micro bike win and what could be his fourth MXC1 class win. Cole Lykins is aiming for another youth overall win but will have to battle for with Jordan Berg and the YXC2 competitors of Bryce Pullen and Quinn Bergman.

Then on Sunday, FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Benjamin Kelley will look to make it five-in-a-row. Kelley has had an impressive start to the season as he has won all four rounds of racing, and he will aim to keep his win streak alive as he battles for his second National Championship.  

Holding onto second in the standings is Magna1 Motorsports/Husqvarna’s Jordan Ashburn after he has earned three podium finishes thus far in the season. This weekend Ashburn will be looking to stop Kelley and earn his first win of the season.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Trevor Bollinger landed a podium finish last round, and this weekend he is hoping to battle once again for a spot in the top three overall. His teammate, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Craig DeLong is looking to land on the podium this weekend once again as he did at round three in Georgia. Bollinger and DeLong are both hoping to land on the podium this weekend. South Carolina native, Rev Motorsports/GASGAS-backed Grant Baylor is also hoping to after his fifth place finish last round, to keep that ball rolling and battle for a top finishing position.

In the XC2 250 Pro class it was Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green’s Lyndon Snodgrass earning his first win of the season last round. Snodgrass will be looking to do the same thing this weekend, and battle for his second-straight win of the season. Phoenix Racing’s Ruy Barbosa had his best performance with a second place finish at the previous round, this weekend Barbosa will hope to turn it up a notch and battle for what could be his first-ever XC2 win. RPM/KTM Racing’s Angus Riordan landed his first podium finish of the season, and he will look to repeat that success this weekend in South Carolina.

The FMF XC3 125cc Pro-Am class saw Magna1 Motorsports/Husqvarna’s Brody Johnson return to the top step of the podium, and this weekend in his home state of South Carolina he is hoping he can once again earn the win. Carolina XC/Moose Racing/XC Gear’s Zack Hayes has been a consistent figure on the podium, and currently holds the lead in the points standings. Hayes is hopeful he can battle back to the center of the podium to earn his second win of the season in a race that is the closest to his hometown of Sumter, South Carolina. Motorcycle Enthusiast Inc/Moose Racing/MX Tech’s Hunter Neuwirth rounded out the podium last round and is hopeful he can come back and earn a class win this weekend.

Trail Jesters KTM Racing’s Korie Steede earned her first-ever WXC career win at the previous round of racing, and this weekend she will be aiming to battle to keep those winning ways going. Fly Racing/Oakley/FMF/KTM Racing’s Brandy Richards raced in her second GNCC event two weeks ago and earned second overall, this weekend she won’t be lining up on the East Coast but looks to return to the series in the future. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna/Surge Off-Road Coaching Team’s Tayla Jones will be aiming to earn her second WXC class win, and battle at the front of the pack with her fellow WXC competitors. AmPro Yamaha’s Rachael Archer is looking to get back to the center of the podium after leading the race two weeks ago and suffering a mechanical that put her back into 10th.

In the youth bike ranks Nicholas DeFeo will be aiming to earn his fifth-straight win of the season, but he will have to continue to hold off his fellow competitors like Peyton Feather and Austin Tsakanikas. Jiggs Fustini is hopeful he can earn his second win of the season in the YXC2 class.

The FMF Camp Coker Bullet GNCC kicks off in Society Hill, South Carolina at Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve this weekend on April 9th and 10th. More information on the event can be found online HERE.
