2022 Moto Heroes
GNCC Racing is proud to continue bringing an AMSOIL Moto Hero to each round of the 2022 series. Racers, fans and industry personnel are welcome to nominate themselves or someone they know for this prestigious honor, who is either currently serving in the military, retired from the military, or is a first or former first responder. A new Moto Hero will be recognized at each GNCC event.
Each AMSOIL Moto Hero is awarded an $250 AMSOIL Shopping spree, Kanati Lite Truck tires from GBC, a commemorative American flag courtesy of Columbia Flag & Sign Co. along with a certificate from their store and 100% Goggles.

2022 AMOSIL Moto Heroes
Round 1 - Big Buck
The Big Buck AMSOIL Moto Hero was awarded to Simpsonville, South Carolina’s Allen Carpenter. Allen has served in the Army for 19.5 years, is currently a Staff Sergeant and set to retire on December 4, 2022. He has served on four deployments to Poland, Kuwait and Afghanistan. Last season Carpenter finished third overall in the Warrior ATV National Championship. Carpenter will receive a $250 AMOSIL Shopping Spree, set of Kanati Truck Tires courtesy of GBC, 100% camouflage goggles and a commemorative American Flag from Columbia Sign & Co. along with a $200 Gift Certificate from them.
Round 2 - Wild Boar
Pauline Kelly Brunton from Port Orange, Florida received the AMSOIL Moto Hero at this year's Moose Racing Wild Boar. Pauline is the wife of Gear Bicycle employee Steve Brunton. Pauline is originally from Ireland, who migrated to America and enlisted in the Navy. She then attended College to further her knowledge and worked her way up to becoming a Lt. Commander in the Navy. She served overseas during the Vietnam War and was deployed many many times. She served for over 20 years, and was raised as a youth in Ireland. Pauline received a $250 AMOSIL Shopping Spree, set of Kanati Truck Tires courtesy of GBC and a commemorative American Flag from Columbia Sign & Co. along with a $200 Gift Certificate.
Round 3 - The General
The AMSOIL Moto Hero at The General GNCC was awarded to Dan Thompson, 36, of Phoenix City, Alabama. Thompson served in the Army as a Corporal, as he served with the Third Ranger Battalion. He was in the 75th Ranger Regiment based out of Benning, Georgia. He helped fight the war on Terrorism in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and was deployed seven times. Thompson will receive a $250 AMOSIL Shopping Spree, set of Kanati Truck Tires courtesy of GBC, 100% camouflage goggles and a commemorative American Flag from Columbia Sign & Co. along with a $200 Gift Certificate from them.
Round 4 - Tiger Run
Corey Showalter received the AMSOIL Moto Hero. Showalter is 30 years old and from Beckley, West Virginia. He serves in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant (SSG) and has been deployed multiple times with his last deployment being in Afghanistan. Showalter will receive a $250 AMOSIL Shopping Spree, set of Kanati Truck Tires courtesy of GBC, 100% camouflage goggles and a commemorative American Flag from Columbia Sign & Co. along with a $200 Gift Certificate from them.
Round 5 - Camp Coker Bullet
The AMSOIL Moto Hero was given out to Eli Boland, the father of youth motorcycle racer Brody Boland. Eli is from Wellston, Ohio and is a Petty Officer Third class in the United States Navy. Eli was deployed on September 11, 2001 on a naval ship to Afghanistan and was there until April 7, 2002. He has since served in many more tours to the Middle East. Eli is a moto dad Brody who currently races in the 85cc (7-11) class. He will receive a $250 AMOSIL Shopping Spree, set of Kanati Truck Tires courtesy of GBC, 100% camouflage goggles and a commemorative American Flag from Columbia Sign & Co. along with a $200 Gift Certificate from them.
