FMF Camp Coker Bullet GNCC Set to Ignite South Carolina This Weekend
SOCIETY HILL, S.C. (March 25, 2026) - The 2026 Progressive Grand National Cross Country Racing (GNCC Racing) Series, an AMA National Championship, heads to the sandy, fast-paced terrain of South Carolina this weekend for the highly anticipated FMF Camp Coker Bullet GNCC. As the series pushes deeper into the season, championship battles are heating up across both ATV and motorcycle divisions, with the sport’s top contenders ready to clash in one of the most unique races on the schedule.
ATV Championship Battle Tightens
In the premier XC1 Pro ATV class, all eyes remain on defending champion Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Brycen Neal, who continues to set the standard with consistent podium finishes and race-winning speed. Neal holds the points lead heading into Camp Coker, but the pressure is mounting.
Close behind, Stewart Boys Racing/Kenda/Pierce Performance’s Wyatt Wilkin is building momentum as he searches for his first career title run. Wilkin’s new experience and race craft make him especially dangerous on Camp Coker’s rough, sandy layout.
Rounding out the top contenders, Phoenix Racing Yamaha/Action Off-Road’s John Glauda Jr. and BNR Motorsports/Fearless/Kenda Tire’s Steven Harrell remain firmly in the hunt. Both riders have shown they can run at the front and capitalize on mistakes, keeping the championship battle wide open as the series progresses.
Bike Division Showdown
On the motorcycle side, the XC1 Open Pro class continues to deliver intense competition week after week. FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Benjamin Kelley leads the points standings, showcasing elite consistency and speed aboard his KTM as he aims for another GNCC title.
Hot on his heels is Phoenix Racing Honda’s Jordan Ashburn, whose aggressive riding style and strong starts have kept him within striking distance. Ashburn’s ability to push the pace in tough conditions could prove critical this weekend.
Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain Red Bear Team Green Kawasaki’s Steward Baylor and AmPro Yamaha’s Liam Draper remain key players in the championship fight. Both riders bring veteran experience and have already demonstrated race-winning capability this season.
Adding to the excitement, rising talents and past champions alike are poised to shake up the standings as the series heads into one of its most physically demanding rounds.
A Unique Challenge at Camp Coker
The Camp Coker Bullet GNCC is known for its deep sand, high speeds, and punishing whoops, creating a race that tests both endurance and machine setup. Riders will need to balance aggression with precision as they navigate the flowing yet unforgiving course.
Fans can expect bar-to-bar racing, dramatic lead changes, and a true test of grit as the nation’s best off-road racers battle for crucial championship points.
Special events and more will take place over the course of the weekend including ePeeWee (STACYC) Racing on Saturday at 5 pm, the annual Browns RV Fishing Tournament at 6 pm on Saturday and the Detroit SX Watch Party at 7 pm on Saturday evening.
