After capturing the 2025 AM ATV 250 All-Star Championship, Bryce Pullen made the move to the afternoon race this season in the College A class. Pullen has already earned two wins and currently sits tied for the points lead in the class. Taking the season one race at a time, Pullen is focused on earning more wins this season as he works toward his ultimate goal of racing on the XC1 row.
GNCC Racing: Take us back to the beginning. When did you first start riding, and what got you into racing ATVs?
Bryce Pullen: I got my first quad at 3 years old, and I rode at home a lot with my older brother. We had some friends that raced XC and invited us to an IXCR in 2016.
You finished third at round one and then grabbed the wins at Wild Boar and Talladega. How does it feel to start the season off with such strong results?
It feels pretty good. I've put in a lot of time at the gym over the winter. I am happy with the progress in our race program.
You’re currently tied for the points lead in College A. Is that something you try to focus on this early in the season, or are you just taking it race by race?
The points are great, but I mainly focus on finishing strong race by race.
The College A class is always stacked with talent. Who are some of the racers you find yourself battling with the most out on the track?
At the moment, there is a lot of talent and good racing. I would say my main competition would probably be Harrison Lindsey.
Last year, you won the 250 All-Star Championship in the AM ATV race. How did racing that class help prepare you for making the jump to competing in the afternoon races?
The 250 All-Star class is great, but always making a push for the overall is what helped me prepare for the afternoon race.
Let’s talk ATV setup. From throttle and braking to suspension and steering, what does your setup look like to make sure you’re ready to compete on Saturdays?
Well, I can’t give out all my secrets.
But we’ve got a lot of really good people behind us. Mark Baldwin does a great job with our engine program. Mike Walsh does a great job with suspension components, along with Micah at Custom Axis on the shock program. Ryland Johnson plays a huge part in bike setup, and my dad builds and maintains the bikes to make sure they are ready to hit the track.
With your sister, younger brother, and older brother all racing too, your family weekends must revolve around the track. What has it been like sharing the sport with them?
Well, this is our 10th year racing, and it’s just our way of life. We all support and push each other on and off the track.
What goals do you have for the rest of this season? And looking beyond that, what goals do you have for the next few years?
My goal is to get as many wins as I can. My main goal is to finish every race strong, and my goals for the next few years are to keep making my way to the front row.
Outside of racing, what are some things you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy hunting, fishing and riding my dirtbike/e-bike with my buddies.
Finally, who are the people and sponsors you’d like to thank for helping you out this season?
I would like to thank:
My Mom and Dad, Brothers and Sister. RJR, Walsh Race Craft, Baldwin Motorsports, Custom Axis shocks, Elite Graphics, Maxxis Tires, Hinson Clutch components, RP Race Performance, Moto Trim, Mayes, Powdercoat, Tom Wood Powersports, and Heartland Diesel and Auto.
