Progressive GNCC Racing Partners with Four Co-Sanctioning Race Organizations

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (February 3, 2026) – The 2026 Progressive Insurance Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC Racing), an AMA National Championship, iss excited to welcome four race organizations to serve as co-sanctioning partners as the 2026 season gets ready to kick off. Three rounds will be partnered with by premier regional racing bodies, which will allow racers to connect with various racing series while continuing to advance the sport of off-road racing.

With the return to New York for the Watkins Glen International GNCC in June, the series is excited to welcome back New York Off-Road Association (NYOA). Multiple racers compete in both NYOA and the GNCC Series, and with memberships in New York continuing to be at a record high, both of the series are looking forward to the long awaited return.

"NYOA, its riders, and their families are so excited to be partnered with GNCC again for the 2026 Watkins Glen International GNCC. We are looking forward to competing against the best off-road racers in the sport. I know we all cannot wait to hear the "Tennn Seconds,” said Chuck Reed, NYOA President. 

Joining NYOA in partnering with GNCC for the Watkins Glen International GNCC will also be the District 6 Cross Country Series. The D6 XC Series covers parts of New York, eastern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

“District 6 Cross Country is excited to co-sanction with GNCC,” said Duane Fisher, Director of XC Racing. “This collaboration unlocks exciting opportunities for our riders to compete on a national level and still receive points for our local series, D6/PA State Cross Country Championship Series. We look forward to participating in this GNCC as they are quality, and exciting events.”

The Low Country Hare Scramble Series which holds events across the coast of South Carolina is set to partner with GNCC for the fourth round of racing in 2026, the FMF Camp Coker Bullet GNCC in Society Hill, South Carolina on March 28-29. The Low Country Hare Scramble Series continues their mission - to bring a family oriented racing event that everyone can enjoy to the beautiful Low Country of South Carolina.

“We are happy to work with GNCC at the 2026 Camp Coker Bullet, and we look forward to building a great relationship with the GNCC Racing Series for years to come,” said Derek Bell, Race Operations Manager.

The American Woods Racing Championship Series (AWRCS) joins GNCC Racing for the 2026 season as a co-sanctioning partner for the Snowshoe GNCC at Snowshoe Mountain Resort on June 27-28. AWRCS continues to be a prominent racing series in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas and currently serves as an AMA East Regional Hare Scramble Championship series.

“Snowshoe has always been a special place in off-road racing, and we’re excited to co-sanction with such an iconic event that showcases the best riders on one of the toughest courses in the country,” said Amy Stiller, AWRCS Owner.

The 2026 Progressive Grand National Cross Country Series will kick off on February 14-15, 2026, with the VP Racing Fuels Big Buck GNCC in Union, South Carolina. To check out the full 2026 GNCC Series schedule, click HERE.
