KTM North America is proud to present the 21st running of KTM Youth Day at the John Penton GNCC. What began as a way for the brand to pay homage to the man who originally imported the KTM motorcycle from Austria into the United States, now holds an even more special meaning as we celebrate the incredible life and legacy of Mr. John Penton by focusing on the future racers of our sport.
All Youth motorcycle racers who enter the John Penton GNCC will receive a free commemorative John Penton Youth Day race bib to proudly wear at this race to signify the impact that Mr. Penton has had on the offroad racing community and the support he has given to the next generation of racers. Youth riders will receive a KTM Youth Day ticket at registration, which they can redeem for a bib at the KTM activation on vendor row.
Additionally, MotoTees will have a limited number of adult bibs for sale on-site.
KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS riders – you'll have the opportunity to customize your bib with the Orange Brigade, Team Husqvarna, or GASGAS MOB logos! KTM is also collaborating with GypsySoul to create custom Penton hats that will only be available at this weekend’s GNCC.
Open to all riders! KTM will continue to celebrate Mr. Penton on Saturday evening with a s’mores and John Penton movie showing following Saturday’s STACYC race. Throughout the weekend, the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team, KTM-supported riders and KTM staff will be at the finish line area to award each Youth motorcycle racer with a finisher medallion upon completion of their race.
KTM is excited to bring back the crowd-favorite Penton class winner stickers for the first time ever a GNCC race, so class-winners don’t forget to get your sticker! A KTM representative will be at the podium to award you your sticker.
