The return to racing after summer break opened with the women’s eMTB competitors leading the charge as the first race of the weekend on Friday.

Nicole Rupert led every lap to grab her fourth win of the 2025 season in the Women's class. Bailey Mena took second place to grab her second podium of the season in the class. Zalie Chase was able to round out the podium with a third-place finish after making her way up from seventh place.

In the Women’s 35+ class, Suzanne Bishop took her fourth straight win of the season and was the only rider in her class to get four laps. Amber Boland was able to make her way up from fourth to grab second on the day, while Heidi Hawkins rounded out the podium in third.

Saturday morning, as the WXC took off, it was JMR/Action Off-Road/GBC/Moose Racing’s Katelyn Osburn earning herself the BNR Motorsports $100 WXC Holeshot Award to start the day. However, on the first lap, it would be Osburn Off-Road/Fearless/Kenda’s Hannah Hunter leading the way, followed by Osburn Off-Road/Pierce Performance/Moose Racing’s Chloe Harper, Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tire’s Jessica Elioff, and BNR / Kenda / Lonestar’s Avery Collins all within ten seconds of each other.

When they came around for lap two, Harper had taken over the lead, and Collins had made the jump up to second. On lap three, Harper would pull away as Hunter and Elioff would both overtake Collins and bump her back to the fourth position.

When the checkered flag flew, Harper would come in to take her sixth win of the season, while Hunter would finish in second, and Elioff in third. With Harper’s win, she extended her points lead and now holds a 24-point advantage over Hunter, who sits in second.

Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna Racing’s Korie Steede would grab the holeshot and lead the way, followed by Am Pro Yamaha’s Danielle McDonald, who would come in just two seconds behind Steede.

Two seconds behind her would be FMF KTM Factory Racing Lander’s Brandy Richards in her return to GNCC racing after an injury.

On the second lap, McDonald would come through right on Steede’s back tire. From there, McDonald was able to grab the lead on the third lap while Steede dropped down to fourth.

On the last lap however, Steede was able to regain the lead and grabbed her fourth win of the 2025 season. Richards would end up second, and McDonald would settle on a third for the day.

Steede continued to apply the pressure, and made a last lap pass to take the WXC class and AM overall win at The Dunlop Buckwheat 100.
