Moose Racing Wild Boar: Women’s Race Report
PALATKA, Fla. (March 10, 2025) - The Moose Racing Wild Boar, Round 2 of the 2025 Progressive Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC Racing) presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, brought us to Palatka, Florida, for some more women’s racing on March 1-2.
In the WXC class on Saturday, JMR/Action Off-Road/GBC/Moose Racing’s Katelyn Osburn would earn herself the $100 BNR Motorsports WXC Holeshot Award, going 2-2 for holeshots so far this season. However, Osborn Off-Road/Fearless/Kenda’s Hannah Hunter would take the lead as they entered the woods.
Jessica Elioff, racing for Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tires, battled hard throughout the race and finished just 3 seconds behind Hannah Hunter in second place. Chloe Harper, on her Osburn Off-Road/Pierce Performance/Moose Racing machine, would fight her way up from sixth to round out the top three WXC finishers.
Katie Young would take the win in the Women's ATV class, and Alysse Diaz would take the win in the Women's (25+) class. In the Women’s C class Aubree Louderback would fight her way up from fifth to take the win.
In the ATV Youth race, Jenna Berg took her second win of the season in the Schoolgirl class. Emma Edwards also earned her second win of the season in the Girls Sr. class. Meanwhile, Lydia Arnold claimed her first win of the season in the Girls Jr. class.
When the WXC class took off for the Sunday morning race, it was Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki Team Green’s Rachael Archer who would grab the $100 Landers KTM WXC Holeshot Award, but FMF KTM Factory Racing Landers Brandy Richards would take over the lead and cruise to the overall win in the Florida sand.
Phoenix Racing Honda’s Tayla Jones would battle her way up from fifth to grab second, with Korie Steede rounding out the top three on her Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna Racing machine.
Mallory Pickard won in the Women’s Bike class, while Jaqueline Ross won in the Women's (30+) class after leading every lap. In the Women's C class, Lucia Bailer would take the win.
In the Girls Super Mini (12-16) class, Sahara Robinson would fight her way up from second to win the class. While in the Girls 85 (7-13) class, Vaida Lavergne would win in Florida. In the Girls 65 (7-11) class, Aubrey Tsakanikas would lead every lap to take her second win of the season.
