Coastal Gasgas Factory Racing's Thad Duvall had a decent start off the line when the green flag waved but found himself towards the back of the pack when the XC1 Pro class entered the woods. After a strong race where Duvall began to pick his way through the group, he finished in 7th place after six laps. But leaving Big Buck healthy and in one piece is something Duvall says is a big win, as previous years at this track has treated him unkindly.

Ryder Lafferty started his race season off strong with a 1st place win in the XC2 250 Pro class! After a race that saw Lafferty in third, fourth, and fifth place for the majority of the race, Lafferty dug deep and found himself crossing the line in 1st place to solidify a great season opener.

Cole and Lane Whitmer, both racing in the 250 A class this season, battled with mostly each other during the race. With Lane finishing 6th and Cole finishing 8th, both said they enjoyed the challenge and hope to raise their finishing positions in the races to come.
