Coastal Racing Race Report: GNCC Ironman

Coastal Racing visited Crawfordsville, IN for round thirteen of the GNCC series. After 13 vigorous rounds, the season finale was finally here and capped with a a commanding win.
Ricky Russell #212 came out swinging for round 13 by pulling the holeshot in the XC1 class and never looking back. Ricky was able to pull away from the rest of the pack and begin his domination early on. At the checkered flag, Ricky would pull a forty second gap on second place earning him first overall XC1.
Ryder Lafferty #19 was on the hunt at the GNCC Ironman but an unfortunate start in the XC2 class would shuffle him back to sixth place on lap one. By the time Ryder finished lap two he had moved his way through the pack placing himself in fourth position. When the race was over, Ryder finished just off the podium in fourth place XC2.
Johnny Girrior #969 attended round 13 looking to carry his success from XC2 class. At the start, Johnny would find himself in sixth place on lap one while maintaining the speed of the leaders. Throughout the race, Johnny was able to pick up two more positions landing him in fourth overall XC1.
