Impakt eMTB GNCC Race Report: Round 1 - The General GNCC

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 15, 2022) - The 2022 EMTB season is underway and round 1 of the GNCC EMTB Series took place at The General GNCC in Washington Georgia.

The Impakt Results / Michelin / Wamsley Cycles EMTB team got off to a strong start to the 2022 season despite sub-optimal weather conditions all weekend.

Defending National Champ, Cooper Kuneff took home the win in the youth class while fellow National Champion, Gavin Garlits won the amateur 14+ class.

Jackson Fisher took home 3rd place in the youth class as did Colin Dierman in the newly formed XC3 class.

WXC pro-women, Ashley Hendershot got off to a strong start to the season with 2nd place on the day in the pro ladies division.

Other notable mentions from the first race are:
Camden Phillips: 4th place (Youth Class)
Julia Fisher 5th place (Women's Class) 
Luke Nesler: 6th place (Big Bore Class)
David Kunedd 9th place (Big Bore Class)

The Impakt EMTB team will be back at it again next weekend as the series heads to Union, SC.
