Impakt eMTB GNCC Race Report: Round 7

Morgantown, WV (August 4, 2021) - Round 7 of the GNCC EMTB Series was also the FIM North American Championship. The Impakt Results / Michelin / Wamsley Cycles EMTB team had a strong showing with several notable performances. 
Cooper Kuneff remains undefeated in the Youth 9-12 Class and had his first race as the 2021 National Champion in his class as he locked up the title at the previous round.

Camden Philips and Jackson Fischer rounded out the podium for the Youth 9-12 class resulting in an Impakt EMTB team sweep. 

Colin Dierman has been on the podium in the 40+ class at every round this season. He had another championship-level performance with a 2nd place finish on the day.

Ashley Hendershot had a strong race as she brought home 4th place in the stacked Women's class.

Luke Nesler had his season-best finish with a 6th place in the ultra-competitive Amateur class

After 7 rounds the team has several riders in the title hunt:

Cooper Kuneff took home the youth 9-12 class National Championship

Canon Kuneff sits second in points in the Amateur class

Colin Dierman sits first in points in the 40+ class

Camden Philips sits second in points in the Youth 9-12 class

Jackson Fisher sits third in points in the Youth 9-12 class

Ashley Hendershot sits fourth in points in the Women's class

Gavin Garlits sits first in points in the Youth 13-17 class

The Impakt EMTB team will be back in action for the season finale on September 11th at the Mountaineer GNCC in Beckley, West Virginia.
