Impakt eMTB GNCC Race Report: Round 5

Morgantown, WV (June, 9 2021) - Round 5 of the GNCC EMTB series took place this past weekend at the Mason Dixon GNCC located at High Point, PA The Impakt Results / Michelin / Wamsley Cycles EMTB team had yet another strong day as we posted some impressive results at our home race.
Cooper Kuneff remains undefeated as he took home his 5th straight win this season. He can clinch the 2021 National Championship for the Youth 9-12 Class at the next round with a victory.
Canon Kuneff had a 60 minute battle with class rival Ty Teasdale in the Amateur class. He ended up 2nd on the day.
Gavin Garlits took the victory in the 13-18 Class. Gavin now sits first in points and has the chance to clinch the title by the Loretta Lynn's round at the end of July.
Camden Phillips (Youth 9-12) and Colin Dierman (40+) brought home yet another podium on the day in their classes.
Ashley Hendershot had a strong race as she brought home a 4th place in the stacked Women's class.
After 5 rounds the team has several riders in the title hunt:

Canon Kuneff sits second in points in the Amateur class
Colin Dierman sits first in points in the Masters class
Camden Philips sits second in points in the Youth 9-12 class
Jackson Fisher sits third in points in the Youth 9-12 class
Ashley Hendershot sits fourth in points in the Women's class
Gavin Garlits sits first in points in the Youth 13-17 class
The Impakt EMTB team will be back in action on June 26th at the Snowshoe GNCC at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, WV
