Coastal GASGAS Factory Racing Hoosier Race Report

Coastal Racing is leaving the Hoosier state with some hardware following Round 6 of the GNCC Series. Conditions were tough with several mudbogs and treacherous terrain surrounding the famous Ironman Raceway facility.
In the XC1 class, Ricky Russell #212 got off to a good start, but some crashes and mistakes in the latter half of the race relegated him back to 8th XC1. In the XC2 class, Johnny Girroir #969 enjoyed a fierce battle with AmPro Yamaha's Mike Witkowski, narrowly edging him out at the finish to secure his fifth XC2 win in a row. In the XC3 class, Ben Parsons #300 showed good speed and form, but a few costly mistakes set him back to 3rd.
In the amateur classes, Cole Whitmer #518 finished a season-best 4th in the 250A class after battling in the Top 5 all race long. Alex Patterson #232 also had a strong showing, finishing 12th in the competitive 4-Stroke Lites A class. Lane Whitmer #587 put on a display of dominance in the 250B class, pulling off another win by an impressive margin. Shawn Remington #63 rounded out the podium in the 40+ A class.
