Beta USA announced it’s 2020 factory off-road race team, signing a number of returning riders and adding a few new faces. Rodney Smith will continue acting as Beta’s off-road team manager.
“I am very pleased about the team Rodney has put together this season,” said Beta USA President Tim Pilg. “With many of the other manufacturers pulling away from off-road racing, I feel it is very important to continue supporting riders in the sport. We have a very talented team competing in more than seven different AMA National Championships for 2020 and I am looking forward to seeing what they are capable of.”
“I’m very excited for this coming racing season,” said Smith. “Going on my third year as a team manager for Beta, I couldn’t be more happy with the way things are going at Beta and especially the race team. I feel we have our best team yet and all of my riders are capable of winning a championship.”
The Beta 2020 Off-Road Team will be made up of 10 factory-back riders: Chance Fullerton (WORCS and NGPC), Cody Barnes (GNCC and National Enduro in the XC2 class), Joe Wasson (National Hare & Hound and West Hare Scrambles), Max Gerston (Extreme Enduro and EnduroCross), Zane Roberts (National Hare & Hound and WORCS), Morgan Tanke (National Hare & Hound and EnduroCross), Rachel Gutish (GNCC and National Enduro), Chase Colville (GNCC, XC3 class), Ron Commo (Extreme Enduro and EnduroCross), and Thorn Devlin (GNCC and National Enduro, XC2).
Beta will also have three official support riders: Brian Dussualt (NETRA Hare Scrambles), Kyle McDonal (East Hare Scrambles), and Cole Conatser (National Hare & Hound and West Hare Scrambles).
