SUBJECT: COMPETITION BULLETIN 2019-6: 

Clarification of Pro Bike Eligibility Rule, Re: ISDE Gold Medal Winners 

Currently, Section C.1(c) of the 2019 GNCC Pro Competition Rules, Rider Eligibility and Classification, provides that Riders earning a gold medal during the previous 3 years at the ISDE (unless eligible for an age or gender class) are required to compete in either the XC1 or XC2 class. It is the intent of this rule that the gold medal be earned in the World Trophy or Junior World Trophy divisions, not in the amateur or club divisions. Accordingly, it is necessary to amend the rule as follows: 

C.1. XC1/XC2 (Bikes): The following riders are required to compete in either the XC1 or XC2 class:

c. Riders earning a gold medal during the previous 3 years at the ISDE in the World Trophy or Junior World Trophy division, unless eligible for an age or gender class;
