2018 Pro Bike Rule Change 

Current Rule C.1.a of the 2017 GNCC Pro Rules requires riders earning a Top 10 overall ranking two of the three previous consecutive years to compete in the XC1 class. For 2017, GNCC adopted age requirements to the XC2 class and introduced the FMF XC3 125 class, making the two year Top 10 rule obsolete.

Accordingly, effective with the 2018 GNCC season, the requirement that riders earing a Top 10 overall ranking two of the three previous consecutive years compete in the XC1 class, will be removed.

For planning purposes, it is important that competitors and teams be made aware of significant rule changes as soon as reasonably possible.
