Logan, OH- The Bonzi Engines/Morgantown Powersports Yamaha team is back for a second season, after a successful 2016.

The Bonzi Engines/Morgantown Powersports Yamaha team is back in full force for 2017 with a strong line up of riders, ready for the new GNCC season.  Team managers Kevin Ganoe and Levi Kilbarger are ready to guide the next wave of off-road superstars.

Returning to the team is Nelsonville, Ohio’s Triston Landrum. The 2016 4 Stroke A Lites Champion enters his rookie campaign in one of the most competitive XC2 classes in recent memory. Landrum has already shown impressive speed at the first round of the Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series, and is ready to make his mark in XC2.

Zanesville, Ohio’s Cope Beckert returns to the team again this year, aboard his new YZF 450 machine. After placing 5th in the 4 Stroke A Lites class in 2016, Beckert  plans on using his size to his advantage to handle the bigger bike, and be a contender in the Open A class.

After finishing 4th in the 250 A class in 2016, Londonderry, Ohio native Ryan Slopko joins the team in 2017, and is ready to fight for the 4 Stroke A Lites title. Under a new program this year, Slopko brings a new wave of confidence into the first round.

After placing 3rd in the 4 Stroke B Lites class under a semi-support effort with Bonzi Engines last year, Grafton, West Virginia’s Brendon Poling joins the team this season with full support aboard his new Yamaha YZF 250X, and is anxious to mix it up in the 4 Stroke A Lites class and battle for wins and the championship.

Bonzi Engines is also supporting the Dirt Prodigies off-road effort this year, with Terra Alta, West Virginia’s Tyler Braniff leading the team in the 4 Stroke A Lites class.

The Bonzi Engines/Morgantown Powersports Yamaha team begins its 2017 season this Sunday at the VP Racing Fuels Big Buck GNCC in Union, South Carolina.
