The JCR/Honda team engaged in battle yesterday in the muddy woods of Indiana & the dusty trails of the Utah desert, coming away with a win and podium respectively.
Springville, Indiana's Lawrence County Recreational Park hosted the Limestone 100 GNCC, round six of the 2016 series. JCR/Honda's Young Bull, Trevor Bollinger (CRF250R) battled the sticky mud and made his way to the top step of the XC2 podium for his 5th win of the season. This win stretched Trevor's championship points lead to 24 points over the nearest competitor.
JCR 's Chris Bach came away with another consistent ride, starting off with a great start leading the race, to finish 5th and maintain 3rd overall in the XC1 points chase.
On the west side of the country in Jericho, Utah's Little Sahara OHV park-JCR/Honda's Ricky Brabec (CRF 450X) continued his podium streak with a second in the NH&H pro class. Ricky is the current points leader in the NH&H championship with a 25 point cushion over the field. Ricky will travel over seas this next week to compete in Morocco for the Rallies World Championship with Team HRC on a factory CRF450 Rally.
"I am really proud of our teams efforts. This is the second time this year we have had races on both East and West coasts in the same weekend.
Our team results speak for themselves, as we are running a tightly focused and united program. To be leading points in 2 - National Offroad racing series and a close 3rd in another is a great position, at nearly halfway through the season. I'm Looking forward to watching Ricky take on the World Rally racers next week in Morocco and Chris and Trevor do work in Ohio on the 29th. Ride Red!"
