“I typically ride pretty well at Limestone,” said Fowler. “The track really fits my style, but McGill and Borich perform well there to. I think there’s a good chance that it will be a good battle between us for the win and the track provides more passing opportunities unlike the past few rounds. I’m excited to get back closer to home and race terrain that I’m used to riding.” 

While Fowler maintains the points lead, CST/LSR/Induction Solutions/DeRisi/SG/Tire Blocks’ Adam McGill comes into this round fresh off back-to-back wins. These finishes allowed McGill to take over the second place position in the points championship. McGill will look to use that momentum to make it three-in-a-row while he contends for the prestigious National Championship. 

Coastal Racing/MSR/Maxxis’ Brycen Neal is still looking for his first career overall win. Neal has been the standout rider of the year finishing on the podium at every round except for one. After leading majority of the race at the Big Buck GNCC Neal proved that he has the capability of winning a GNCC race, and the Ohio native will look to do just that this Saturday. 

Sitting just eight points behind Neal is Maxxis/Fly Racing/HMF/Ye Olde Cycle Barn/Suzuki’s Chris Borich. The six-time National Champion has had success this year after switching bike brands, but still lacks an overall win. Borich has been on the podium at all four previous Limestone 100 GNCC races, and will use that as motivation to take his first win of the season at the conclusion of the two hour race on Saturday.

“I’ve won at Limestone a few times,” said Borich. “We finally got the bike back where it needs to be, with both the motor package and shocks. I’m just going to keep pushing before Limestone and hopefully get back on the box."

Heading into this round ranked fifth is JMR/ATVriders.com/DWT’s Jarrod McClure. With four top-five finishes this season, McClure continues his bid for the National Championship in America’s premier off-road racing organization this Saturday. 

N-Fab/Maxxis/AmPro Yamaha/Lonestar/MXP’s Cole Richardson has also found success at the Limestone 100 GNCC where he managed to finish an impressive fourth overall last year while starting on the second row in XC2 Pro-Am. The XC1 Pro rookie spent the last race demonstrating that he has the speed needed to land himself a spot on the podium.

Both BNR/Moose Racing/Maxxis’ Josh Merritt and Show Hauler/Canyon Motorsports/GBC’s Landon Wolfe head into this weekend ranked seventh and eighth, with Precision/Axis/Maxxis-backed Jay Shadron rounding out the top ten. 

The XC2 Pro-Am rookie and Hygear Suspension/Waynesburg Yamaha/FLY Racing/Moto-Xperts/Spider Graphix’s Greg Covert has not made a podium appearance since the third round, but has continued to put in consistent top five finishes in order to hold onto the lead in the points championship. However, ITP/Ye Olde Cycle Barn/Walsh Racecraft’s Westley Wolfe has turned his season around and went 1-1 in the previous two rounds. Wolfe has his eyes on the championship and will be battling with Covert for the win this Saturday. Wolfe currently sits tied for second with Dillinger's Celtic Pub & Eatery/GBC Motorsports/Moose Racing’s Marty Christofferson. JMR/ATVriders.com/DWT’s Randy Hamilton has shown great success with his holeshots and most recently found himself on the podium at the Camp Coker Bullet GNCC and heads into this weekend with the hopes of repeating his finish. Currently sitting fifth is Independent Cycles/Shockworx Motorsports/Variom’s Matthew Lindle who also landed a podium finish at the previous round.
