In the afternoon race, Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4 Arrive-N-Ride/FAR rider Thad DuVall carried his momentum from before the summer break, immediately putting himself in contention for not only a podium finish, but also a race win. The West Virginia native ultimately rode his Husqvarna FC350 to a second place finish in the XC1 Pro class after passing newly crowned ISDE Overall Champion Ryan Sipes on the final lap of the three-hour race.

XC2 Pro Lites rider Nick Davis kicked off the day by grabbing a big holeshot in front of a stacked field of 23 riders. Davis led the way aboard his Husqvarna TC250 on the opening lap, where he engaged in a battle for the lead with championship contender Jason Thomas. Davis swapped the lead several times with Thomas, where he ultimately finished in second place for the day.

Both DuVall and Davis recently returned from the International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), where they each represented the USA Team respectively.
