Racer Productions is pleased to congratulate five participants of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, on their impressive performances at the 2015 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMOSIL at the renown Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. The Amateur National took place July 26 through August 1 and holds the title as the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross race.
N-Fab Am-Pro Yamaha WXC rider Jessica Patterson returned to her grassroots of motocross in the inaugural Women (16+) All-Star division. Patterson proved to be a front-runner as she pulled multiple holeshots and finished eighth overall.
Super Mini (12-14) rider Korie Steede made her presence known in the Girls Jr. (9-13) finishing an impressive 10-6 in the first two motos, but unfortunately suffered a DNS in the third race which resulted in 26th overall.
XC1 Pro rider Garrett Edmisten competed in the ultra-competitive Junior 25+ class where he lined up against some of the biggest names in vet racing, but his 11-5-8 finish allowed him to claim an impressive fifth overall position.
After not making an appearance at the Ranch for a decade Eddie Ray, Patterson’s mechanic and husband, returned to claim seventh overall in the Senior 40+ division, including clinching a gold in the second moto.
Five-time GNCC Champion Rodney Smith demonstrated that his talent is ever-present by his 2-2-1 finishes in the Masters 50+. Smith has recently been named in the Class of 2015 to be inducted in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame on October 17.
