Coastal Racing’s XC2 Racer John Henry would come into Big Buck looking for redemption after a tough ride at the first round in Georgia. The finish in Georgia didn’t gave him a tenth-row starting position but he was able to grab the hole shot off the line for his row to give him clear sailing into the woods. The Big Buck course is very tight and fast with very few passing lanes so Henry would have to be very strategic throughout the race to gain ground. His RZR S 900 handled the rough track very well and, on adjusted time, took the win with teammate Sean Bogdan taking second in his RZR.

Team UXC Racing would come into the race with a win at Steele Creek in the 4x4 Pro. Unfortunately, some unlucky circumstances would have Michael Swift and Kevin Trantham finish off the podium but their 4x4 Senior Racer Don Higbee would take third on his Scrambler 850 EPS.

The Single Seat Class would see seven Polaris ACEs enter for the second race of the year. Team UXC Racers Marc Spataro and Josh Copleland would finish one, two in their ROX/Team UXC Racing ACEs. Third would go to Doug Fortner who took second in the first Single Seat Race at The General.

The next GNCC race is the Limestone 100, in Springville, Ind., April 25-26, and the next UTV and Single Seat Race will be the Mountaineer, at Marvin’s Mountain Top, in Masontown, West Virginia.
