Day 6
France are the worthy and clear winner s of the World Trophy at this year’s FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in San Juan, Argentina. Making no mistakes on day six, France secured their third consecutive victory in the ISDE. Settling for second on the day behind the United States, the French team of Marc Bourgeois –Yamaha, Christophe Nambotin – KTM, Pierre-Alexandre Renet – Husqvarna, Jeremy arroux – Sherco, Anthony Boissiere – Sherco and Fabien Planet – Sherco comfortably won the FIM World Trophy title. Despite topping the final three days of competition, the United States were unable to claim their debut ISDE win and finished as runner-up. Spain delivered a consistent ride to end their week on the podium in third overall. One of just two nations to keep all six riders in the race, Germany placed fourth while host nation Argentina were rewarded with fifth overall for their efforts in front of their home fans.
Recording their first win in the ISDE since the late Kurt Caselli led them to victory in 2006, the United States claimed an emotional victory in the FIM Junior World Trophy class. Topping the standings by one-minute and forty-two seconds, Grant Baylor – KTM, Steward Baylor – KTM, Trevor Bollinger – Honda and Justin Jones – KTM made it a week to remember for USA in Argentina. Suffering their first defeat in four years France placed as runner-up with Australia third. Germany and Argentina completed the top five.
Ending their week of dominance in style, the Australian trio of Jessica Gardiner – Sherco, Tayla Jones – KTM and Jemma Wilson – Yamaha easily won the final day of racing to successfully defend their FIM Women’s World Trophy title. Completing one of the toughest ISDE races of recent times, Canada were rewarded with the runner-up result while the United States rounded out the top three.

France retain their World Trophy Title
Day 5
The United States continue to eat into France’s lead in the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in San Juan, Argentina by winning the penultimate day of racing.
Refusing to give up hope of winning the eighty-ninth edition of the ISDE, the United States won the FIM World Trophy class for the second day running. Now just over ten minutes behind leaders France, the USA still need a lot of luck to fall their way on day six’s final motocross to capture their debut ISDE crown. But with this year’s event continuing to prove anything but predictable this one is not over until the final chequered flag has been waved.
Although now out of contention to challenge for victory, Spain have cemented their position of third overall in the ISDE. Nine minutes clear of Germany in fourth, Spain will be hoping for a trouble free run on day six to take third.
Putting his disappointment from day three firmly behind him, the United States’ Taylor Robert – KTM was fastest in the overall individual standings while claiming the Enduro 3 category win. Australia’s Toby Price – KTM finished behind him in second while Michael Brown – Husqvarna made it an USA one-three in third.
With just the final motocross on day six remaining, the end of one of the toughest ISDE’s in recent history is almost in sight for the competitors still left in the race.

Team USA take second day win in San Juan
Day 4
Following a rough day in the dust, the USA World Trophy team made a huge push in team competition, knocking three minutes off France's lead with two days remaining. Since yesterday's dust took such a toll on bikes, France approached today's racing with a more reserved strategy. It seemed to have worked out, as all six team members made it to the end and are still actively racing, as opposed to most other teams who have dropped their sixth man for one reason or another.
But the US riders came in with a much different approach, knowing what they need to do to go after a team victory. The boys went all out, finishing as the top scoring team for this day. A couple impressive stats to note, three USA riders (Kailub Russell, Mike Brown and Thad DuVall) currently sit inside the top 10 outright, while USA's JWT leading man Justin Jones sits 11th. Taylor Robert is up to 14th after a nine minute penalty brought him to a halt yesterday.
Sitting fourth overall as the top placing American, Russell is only 1.71 seconds behind Australia's Matt Phillips for the third place spot, and the same distance away from Phillips for second place in E2.
USA continues to lead the way in the Junior World Trophy division with a 1:12.04 lead over France. The Baylor brothers, Justin Jones and Trevor Bollinger are plugging away and putting on a favorable showing for the U.S.

Day 3
This may go down in ISDE history as some of the most unfavorable racing conditions ever! With rising temperatures and extremely dry and dusty terrain, many competitors across the board were forced to drop out due to mechanical failures. In fact, Jeff Fredette, who has been racing Six Days for something like 34 or 35 years, experienced his first-ever DNF due to the conditions. The USA Wellard Club team lost Chris Bach, the Go Fasters lost Travis Coy and the Women's Trophy team lost Rachel Gutish, to name a few.
Team USA's top rider thus far, Taylor Robert, is one of many who came on the brink of losing his bike in the midst of arguably his best day of the week. The West coast rider is right at home in the dry, sandy conditions in Argentina, capturing two special test wins on day two, and two more on day three. He’s been the top placing American in almost every special test but on day three he ran into bike problems that caused him to soak up a nine-minute penalty for being late to a test.
Despite Robert’s penalty, the rest of the US guys rode well, vaulting themselves back into second as a team, about 16 minutes behind France. It also helped that Australia, who lost Daniel Milner on the first day to injury, lost a second rider today to drop them out of the running for WT team competition. France is holding strong with all of their team members intact and racing at this point.
After three days, Kailub Russell sits third in E2 class, Thad DuVall fourth, and JWT USA member Justin Jones sits fifth in E2. Mike Brown sits third in E3 and Robert falls from first to sixth in E3.
The Junior World Trophy team of Steward and Grant Baylor, Justin Jones and Trevor Bollinger moved into first on day three, despite a rough day for most everyone else. Justin Jones is holding it down with the team’s fastest times thus far, with Stu Baylor helping out big.
Mandi Mastin was the only Women's rider to finish day three, where USA sits third in Women's Trophy.

Tough day in the saddle for all
Day 2
The USA WT team dropped back to fourth overall, mainly due to complications with Charlie Mullins, who came in with a progressive double wrist injury. Mullins knew it was going to be tough, but it all seemed to pile on during this day, as he encountered a couple of big crashes in special tests three and four, slowing him down big time. He was late to the next special test, where he acquired a two-minute penalty. He was a trooper, though, pushing through the rest of the day, despite a big drop off his personal time and the team's as a whole.
