The winner of the Factory Team FMF KTM 150XC is Jesse Branson from Ohio.
Following a magnificent ride at yesterday's final race of the 2014 GNCC series, Kailub Russell was able to beat all comers on the mighty KTM 150XC to not only take the Overall victory but also then hand the bike over to the winner of this ground breaking raffle.
Rory Mead was in attendance at the race and pulled the winning ticket.
The winners of the other prizes were:
2nd - One set of Thor Riding gear (pants, jersey, gloves, valued at $500) - Steve Kovarovics
3rd - Choice of a Free DirtWise "Ready to Race" bike rental at a GNCC or Nat Enduro race, or a Free spot in a two day DirtWise Riding school (valued at $400) - Delanie Neville
4th - Signed Kailub Russell custom #1 race jersey - James Barrett
5th - Signed Shane Watts custom jersey - Jeremy Webb
Watts added, "Now we hate to say this, but as is sometimes expected in the great world of social media, some concerns were raised by other raffle ticket purchasers that it seemed a little coincidental that the winner was present at the race to receive the bike. I just want to clarify that we already had a shipping crate organized and ready, plus my mate at the freight forwarding company all set to take the necessary steps to ship the bike worldwide if that was required. It was just luck-of-the-draw that Jesse Branson was present at the track for the drawing."
"Everyone on our end that was involved in this raffle want to sincerely thank you for your sensational support of this fundraising effort. We had such a great time in doing the raffle, in watching Kailub put in some stellar performances on the bike out on the track, and to have this be a successful initiative. We just might have to do something like this again in 2015."
