Perfect riding conditions greeted riders at Round 6 of the National Enduro series held in northern Michigan over the weekend, and Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise KTM team rider Jesse Groemm rode to a very disappointing 8th place finish in the Pro class.

Groemm was devastated with his race result, saying, "I had a pretty decent day going, and at the start of the last test I was sitting solidly in 3rd place only a couple of seconds out of 2nd place. In that last test I decided to really put the hammer down and let it fly - I was ripping through the test and was on track to have a scorching test time, but then I tagged a rock and went flying over the hangers and slammed my body into the remaining rocky outcrop. That knocked the wind out of me so bad that I couldn't get back to my feet for a few minutes, which totally messed up my score and dropped me down to 8th in the final positions. That result sucked but the one positive to come from this race is that I'm finally starting to feel the "magic" again now, just like I was earlier in the year - I'm looking to finish the year out strong!"

The next racing commitment for the Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise KTM Race team will see Jason Thomas competing in Rd. 4 of the OMA Nationals series in Indiana this coming weekend.
