Charlie Mullins' perfect win streak helped set the stage for a perfect podium at Round 4 of the Kenda National Enduro Series held at Park Hills, Missouri. Nick Fahringer and Andrew DeLong completed the trifecta with 2nd and 3rd place finishes. With over 500 entries the Motorcycle Superstore Bell Helmet support riders had their hands full, but by the end of the race they captured seven of the top ten spots.
1st - Charlie Mullins
Another impressive ride and win by the Factory KTM rider. "It feels good to get another win in the Enduro series. There's still a lot of racing left and I want to keep taking it race by race. Missouri was really technical this year with the rocks, single track, and mud. I felt really good all day and was able to win 4 out of 6 tests. Now it's time to focus on the GNCC in West Virginia this coming weekend."
2nd - Nick Fahringer
AirGroup Racing Husqvarna's Nick Fahringer won 2 of the 6 tests and now holds down the second spot in the series behind Mullins. "We came into this round with some new suspension settings and struggled in the first two tests. We made a couple changes that made a world of difference. We're getting stronger each race."
3rd - Andrew DeLong
Factory Husqvarna's DeLong finished second in 3 of the 6 tests. "I had a good, solid day and had tons of fun and my Husqvarna FE350 worked great. I'm still learning but I have a lot of confidence on the bike."
5th - Jesse Groemm
Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise/KTM team rider Jesse Groemm rode to a solid 5th place finish in the Pro class, which maintains his top 3 placing in the Overall Championship standings. "My overall goal for this year is to be consistent with my results and to at least score a top 5 on my bad days, so at least I achieved that. I can't wait for the next race so I can charge for a podium finish which is where I belong."
6th - Cory Buttrick
Factory Beta's Buttrick continues to improve each race but had a crash in Test 4 which knocked the wind out of him. "We had a pretty good day and made a step in the right direction despite the crash in the fourth test. My Beta 300RR handled well in the slick rocky conditions and I'm looking forward to the Virginia National Enduro."
9th - Ryder Lafferty It's tough following in the footsteps of family legends but Ryder, the son of Rich Lafferty and nephew of Mike Lafferty, put in an impressive ride to finish 9th overall.
10th - Craig DeLong It won't be long before Andrew's little brother Craig will also be sporting a factory ride if he keeps posting the results he has this season. His 10th place overall finish also netted him a first in the AA-Expert Class.
12th - Justin Sode Factory Beta's Sode had his best finish of the year at 12th overall. "Conditions at Round 4 of the National Enduro Series were perfect. I had a slow beginning of the race but throughout the day I picked up the pace. I'm happy with my result but hope to improve at Round 5."
