KR4 Performance is pleased to announce the addition Fred Andrews to our outstanding GNCC and National Enduro programs. We are thrilled to apply Fred’s years of experience and talents as a former MX and GNCC Pro and FAR Husqvarna Team Manager to KR4’s 2014 racing efforts!
Andrew’s primary role will be to head up the KR4 program on raceday as the KR4 Team Manager. His years of experience running a successful race team at the highest level will make Fred and integral part of KR4’s future accomplishments. Fred’s knowledge will serve as a great asset as he assists KR4 with:
- Team Mentor: Someone the team looks up to, and the go-to person for personal and racing advice.
- Pro Rider Manager: Acquire, manage, and mentor our Pro riders and support their racing efforts
- KR4 Grass Roots Program: Recruit new grassroots-level riders that want to be affiliates of KR4 and help them save money, get exposure, move through the ranks, and become the Next Big Thing.
- Sponsorship Negotiations: Direct POC and Development of new Sponsors
- KR4 Business Development: Key role in day to day operations
Fred’s many years of racing experience include:
- Started racing the GNCC Series in 1993 after 9 years competing in the AMA National Motocross and Supercross series.
- During Bike Week in 1993, Fred raced the AMA National at Gatorback on Sunday and did his first GNCC the following Tuesday in Ocala and WON.
- 1993 GNCC Champion
- 1993 Blackwater Champion
- Multi time AMA National Hare Scramble Champion
- Raced GNCC Series from 1993 to 2006:
- 1993 to 1997: Yamaha
- 1998 to 2003: Kawasaki
- 2004 to 2005: Suzuki
- 2006 to 2007: Kawasaki
- 2008: Retired from racing and started team management duties
- 2010 to 2013: Team Manager of FAR Husqvarna Team
- Joined KR4 Arrive-N-Ride 2014….
Frank Keegan, the man behind all of KR4’s efforts, welcomed Andrews to the team by saying,
