GNCC Racing Proposes First-Ever GNCC University Riding School at Snowshoe, Featuring Yamaha's Off-Road Champions
Morgantown, W. Va. (May 8, 2009) -- Snowshoe Resort and the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series have proposed the first-ever GNCC University riding school the week before the MotorcycleUSA.com Snowshoe GNCC on June 23-25th. The riding school will feature Yamaha's star-studded line-up of bike and ATV off-road champions, with more than 30 titles collected between them, teaching a variety of off-road techniques on the demanding Snowshoe Campus. Defending nine-time GNCC Champion Bill Ballance, Johnny Gallagher and Five time Women's GNCC Champion Traci Cecco will instruct the ATV side, while Eight-time GNCC Champion Barry Hawk, Three-time Champion Thad DuVall, Seven-time AMA National Enduro Champion Randy Hawkins and Four time AMA National Harescramble Champion Jason Raines will lead the bike side. Cost including rooms in the Snowshoe Village for two nights, food and beverages at Snowshoe, and the GNCC University school itself, is expected to retail for under $400.

Tuesday: GNCC University students check-in at Snowshoe for Yamaha Champions Meet & Greet
Wednesday: Instructional Period on a variety of terrain
Wednesday Night: Panel Discussion with Champions
Thursday: Continued Instructional Period on a variety of terrain
Thursday Afternoon: Lunch and Awards Presentation
