Top 10s for Polaris at Loretta's

Minneapolis, April 21, 2009 -Polaris had a great Round 5, at GNCC's Loretta Lynn's, in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.

The Sportsman 850 XP with power steering continues to show it's a top contender in cross country racing. Rath Racing Racer, Frankie Batista, took second in the "4x4 Open" class with another nice finish on his Sportsman 850 XP with power steering. Batista sits in fifth in the rankings with Teammate, Daryl Rath in third.

"Rath Racing continues to have great success with the Sportsman 850 XP," said Eric Nault, race team manager for Polaris Racing. "Daryl Rath and team are showing the race world this quad's potential."

Also in the morning classes, Super Senior John Gallagher took second in his class aboard the Outlaw 450. Gallagher sits third overall in the standings, one point out of second.

In the afternoon race, William Yokley took seventh in the "XC1 Pro" class on his Outlaw 450MXR.  "Every race this team is improving their results," added Nault. "Yokley and Notman have been working hard at dialing this new product in.  I expect to see better results each race from them and the Outlaw 450MXR."

The next GNCC race is Weekend Warrior Titan, May 2-3, in Lafayette, Tenn.
