Re: GNCC Rulebook Changes in Age Class Eligibility

The following provision has been added to the 2009 GNCC Supplemental Rulebook, appearing under the RIDER ELIGIBILITY AND CLASSIFICATION section:

7. For all classes, age is determined by the rider's age on January 1. For amateur competition only, a rider may voluntarily advance to a higher age group if he meets the minimum age requirements on the date of the event. Once a rider advances to the higher age group, he may not return to the younger age division.

The new rule applies to all GNCC age classes, but can be used specifically as a guide to eligibility in the ATV College A (16-21) and College B (16-21) classes.
