Nathan Kanney held on to win the Klotz Ironman GNCC in dominant fashion, leading every lap en route to his first win of the season. Charlie Mullins took second with Thad DuVall outdueling Barry Hawk for third.

Kailub Russell took the XC2 Lites win over Cory Buttrick, with Jason Thomas third. Buttrick and Russell battled for most of the day before Buttrick lost the mouse tube from his rear wheel, allowing Russell to shoot into the lead. Buttrick lost time in the pits but charged back to second.

Course conditions turned out perfect after a weekend of cold and rain. The sun came out the dried the course just enough for near perfect track conditions for the racers.
