KTM Youth Day at The John Penton GNCC

KTM North America is proud to present the 22nd Annual KTM Youth Day at the John Penton GNCC. Created to honor the legacy of John Penton, the man who brought KTM motorcycles from Austria to the United States, KTM Youth Day is dedicated to inspiring and supporting the future offroad racers.

All youth racers who enter the John Penton GNCC will receive a KTM Youth Day ticket during registration, which can be redeemed for a customized Penton KTM Youth Day Hat at the KTM Support Truck on Pit Row. Throughout the weekend, members of the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team, KTM-supported riders, and KTM staff will be at the finish line area to award each youth racer with a finisher medal upon completion of their race. All race winners can visit the podium after their race to receive a special Penton class winner sticker from a KTM representative.

On Saturday evening, MXers for Jesus will host a Slip 'N Slide event, where young racers can cool off, have fun, and receive a KTM beach ball after a full day of racing. Young riders and their families can look forward to a full weekend of fun, racing, prizes, and unforgettable memories both on and off the track.

Schedule:

KTM YOUTH DAY ACTIVITIES:

  • Friday | 2-6pm: Handing out free Penton KTM Youth Day hats to all micro/youth - on all brands.
  • Saturday | 8:45am-9:15am: Micro Race – Custom Penton KTM Youth Day medals awarded to all racers that finish. FMF KTM Factory Racing Team and KTM staff will be there supporting.
  • Saturday | 10am-4pm: Penton KTM Youth Day Hats will continue to be handed out to those who did not pick up on Friday.
  • Saturday | 5pm: STACYC race / We will hand out the usual bibs beforehand (4 PM). Penton KTM Youth Day Medals awarded to all that finish. FMF KTM Factory Racing Team and KTM staff will be there supporting.
  • Saturday | Before the STACYC race (3-4 PM): KTM branded beach balls will be given to youth at the MXers for Jesus Slip n’ Slide.
  • Sunday | 8:00am-9:30am: Youth Race – Custom Penton KTM Youth Day medals awarded to all racers that finish. FMF KTM Factory Racing Team and KTM staff will be there supporting.
