Micro-E Class Name Changes

There are currently three Micro-E classes: E1 (7-8), E2 (4-6) and E3 Limited (4-6). All three Micro-E models (E2, E3 & E5) are allowed in the Micro-E1 (7-8) and Micro-E2 (4-6) classes. Only the E2 and E3 models are allowed in the Micro-E3 Limited class. The similarity in the class names with the names of the OEM models has resulted in some confusion.

To alleviate the confusion, the names of the classes have been modified as follows:

Micro-E (7-8): E2, E3 & E5 Micro-E models allowed; Max. Front 12”.

Micro-E (4-6): E2, E3 & E5 Micro-E models allowed; Max. Front 10”.

Micro-E (4-6) Limited: Limited to E2 and E3 Micro-E models; Max. Front 10”. 

We hope this minor change clarifies the classes accordingly.
