XC1 OPEN PRO CLASS PODIUM FOR JORDAN ASHBURN IN MASON-DIXON GNCC ROUND
FINISHES THIRD IN CLASS FOLLOWING A HARD-FOUGHT WEEKEND AT MOUNT MORRIS
• Former GNCC Champion Ashburn races to P3 in XC1 Open Pro Class
• Mason-Dixon GNCC round podium marks his second of the 2025 season with GASGAS
• Ashburn currently sits seventh overall in XC1 Open Pro Class standings
Riders were faced with tricky terrain in Pennsylvania, with a rutty, damp surface proving to be a real challenge. Equipped with the GASGAS EX 350F, former GNCC Champion Ashburn got off to a steady start and clawed his way through the field as the race progressed.
A handful of falls saw Ashburn have to make his way back up toward the front on several occasions, and in the end he would ride to a measured third-place result in class for the weekend.
Jordan Ashburn: “I didn't get off to a very good start today, but worked my way up to the front several times. I just made too many mistakes in the end to stay with the lead group, so I rode pretty much by myself for the final XC1 podium position and was able to hold onto third place in class for the round.”
