Dry, fast-paced conditions greeted riders for the seventh round of this year’s GNCC Series, which were vastly different from the mud of the previous prior. Equipped with his GASGAS EX 350F, former GNCC Champion Ashburn launched to a fast start, working his way into third position.

While charging hard in P3 during the opening laps, Ashburn was well in the mix, however, as late-race discomfort crept in, the 34-year-old posted a measured performance to claim P5 in the XC1 Open Pro Class to conclude his weekend in Indiana. It was his second top-five result in a row, currently sitting eighth in class overall.
