SECOND-PLACE PODIUM FOR JORDAN ASHBURN AT THE POWERLINE PARK GNCC

Subject to a downpour of rain for the Ohio venue, racers were faced with muddy, slippery conditions as they took off for the start of the Powerline Park event. Equipped with the GASGAS EX 350F, former GNCC Champion Ashburn launched to a fast start, quickly working his way into third position.
A decisive pass into P2 at the end of lap one had Ashburn locked in a battle for the race lead throughout the remainder of the encounter, with a hard-fought runner-up finish the result after applying pressure on the race leader to the end.
Jordan Ashburn: “My race was solid! I got off to a decent start for the day and made some quick passes in the open sections after the start to work my way into third. Made the pass for second toward the end of lap one, and then I battled the rest of the day for the lead position, ultimately coming up short in second. I'm super-happy with the bike and the team, we’re ready to build some momentum.”
Flatrock Motorclub GASGAS Factory Racing teammate and XC2 250 Pro Class rider Jason Tino was confirmed in the lead-up to Round 6 to have torn his ACL, and will be out for the remainder of the season as he begins his recovery.
