Impakt eMTB GNCC Race Report: Round 2 - Tiger Run GNCC

Morgantown, W.Va. (March 30, 2022) - Round 2 of the GNCC EMTB Series presented by Specialized took place last weekend in Union, South Carolina. After a cold and muddy round 1, the team was looking forward to more of a normal race.

The track was fast and fun and made for an exciting race in nearly every class. 

Defending National Champ, Cooper Kuneff took home his second win in the youth class for 2022. Fellow National Champion, Gavin Garlits got into a heated battle with Brad Esper in the amateur 14+ class. After an aggressive move made by Esper, Garlits lost the lead but was able to hold onto second place in class for the day.  WXC pro-women, Ashely Hendershot had another strong ride and was able to back up her 2nd place finish at round 1 with another 2nd place in class for the day.
