Introducing the 2022 Trail Jesters KTM NextGen Program

Copake Lake, N.Y. (November 22, 2021) - Trail Jesters KTM Racing is pleased to announce the creation of a new program for youth riders. The Trail Jesters KTM Next Generation (NextGen) program will support the development and racing progression of select youth riders in the AMA Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series.

Two New England riders were selected for the inaugural 2022 NextGen program.

Van Gosselin: Van is a 13 year old Vermont native and will compete in the GNCC YXC1 Super Mini Sr. class in 2022. Van is a four time JDay Offroad youth champion across the Pee Wee, Mini and Big Wheel classes. Van has one year GNCC experience competing in the YXC2 Super Mini Jr. class where he landed on the podium the final three rounds of 2021 and finished fifth in class for the year.

Jiggs Fustini: Jiggs is 12 years old and hails from Connecticut. Jiggs will run the GNCC YXC2 Super Mini Jr. class in 2022. Jiggs is a two time JDay Offroad youth champion in the Mini class. Jiggs has two years of GNCC experience in the 85 class (7-11) where he made the podium 20 out of 24 races over the past two years. Jiggs took second in the 2021 85 class championship.

Trail Jesters Owner, Ross Mauri:“Youth riders are the future of our sport and I wanted to create a program for promising young athletes. The four factors I look for are technical skill, mental strength, physical fitness and personal character. I have watched both Van and Jiggs over several years now and think they will fit very nicely into the NextGen program.”

Program Sponsors: KTM, FMF Racing, Moose Racing, Alpinestars, FMF Vision, Edelmann Sales, TF Racing Suspension and Power of the Mind.

We are pleased to partner with Steve Hatch Racing for rider training and coaching.
