Welcome to Quick Fill.

It’s hard to believe it but in just one week, the GNCC Racing Nation will be rolling into Big Buck for round one of the 2018 GNCC Racing season. We’ve discussed a number of times in the past few weeks just how great of a season we potentially have on our hands, and we’re almost ready to kick it off. Are you ready? I know I am! Well, kind of.

I say “kind of” because our plans of heading to Big Buck early need a few tweaks. My fellow Junior Trail Boss, Ryan Echols, came down with the flu early this week and it looks like I picked it up yesterday in addition to a few other folks who work in the Racer Productions office. Hope everyone gets over it soon! Also, to anyone reading this, make sure you're washing your hands frequently out in public! So, with that said, this week’s edition of Quick Fill is going to be a little bit on the short side but we’ll make it up to you next week with a version full of pre-season goodies.

We do want to go ahead and give you a heads up that in tradition with the opening round, we will be offering practice at Big Buck. It’s not on the main race course, but it will be a good opportunity to get things tweaked and set right on your machine. Youth ATVs will practice from 1pm-2pm on Friday with AM and PM ATV racers from 2pm-4pm. Youth bikes will practice from 1pm-2pm on Saturday with AM and PM bikes to follow from 2pm-4pm. The cost for practice will be $20 and you will sign up for practice when you register to race.

That’s going to do it for me. I’m going to crawl back into bed and hope this passes so I can get on the road to Big Buck. It’s almost time to go GNCC Racing!

Weekly Updates (Chelsea Taylor)

It’s with sadness and excitement that I let you all know this will be the last time I contribute to Quick Fill. I have decided to take another opportunity in my career and unfortunately that came with the tough decision to step away from Racer Productions. When I started this position, I didn’t know the first thing about off-road racing, but you all took me in like your family and quickly taught me the ropes. I cannot thank you all enough for that. I truly feel like apart of the family thanks to you all. The hardest part of stepping away is knowing that I won’t get to see the GNCC Racing Nation at the races now, but I plan on attending a race or two this year so I hope you catch up with you all soon!! Good luck on your races this year… I can’t wait to watch everyone grow and succeed!

With that being said, I will need a replacement! Our HR department is currently working on putting together a job description and when it’s complete it will be posted on the website with directions on how to apply, so if you’re interested keep an eye out on the website for the opportunity.

Rachel Gutish took a different route with the Tuesday Toolbox this week and caught up with Eric Siraton, Trevor Bollinger’s mechanic. I highly recommend checking out his interview. It’s interesting to know what a GNCC Pro mechanic goes through daily, but also on the offseason. I was lucky enough to attend a JNCC race in Japan with Eric and Trevor, and Eric’s experience on and off the track is exceptional. He is truly a great asset to the GNCC Racing Nation.

KR4 Performance and AMSOIL have teamed up to bring you the brand-new AMSOIL Garage for the 2018 season! Located in the Finish Line Village adjoined to the KR4 Performance Arrive-N-Ride team pit area, the AMSOIL Garage will be the one-stop-shop for all of your oil needs, as well as advice and assistance on minor repairs or installation. Staffed by professional mechanics and a local AMSOIL dealer, stop by and visit the AMSOIL Garage at each of the 13 rounds of the GNCC season! There will also be a hospitality area provided by KR4 so that you can wait on your machine while the mechanics are working on it. Of course, you can sit there and

Speaking of KR4, don’t forget about their Arrive-n-Ride Program where you can rent a fully-prepped Husqvarna race bike. There are three different packages available ranging from an all-inclusive race weekend to one where they will transport your own bike for you. If you are ever in a pinch with prior obligations or just want to experience a GNCC but you live too far away to make the haul yourself, consider trying out the Arrive-n-Ride Program offered by KR4 Performance.

Go ahead and get yourself pre-registered for the Big Buck GNCC. Last year this was one of our largest attended races, so do yourself a favor and skip the line at registration by using the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Fast Track Pre-Registration Program. In addition to a simpler registration process at the track, you’ll receive $20 worth of Race Gas Cash that is redeemable on the entire Rocky Mountain ATV/MC inventory!

That’s all for now, but I will see you all soon! Good luck in South Carolina!

We sure will miss Chelsea around the office and races, but we wish her the best in her future endeavors!

The brand-new AMSOIL Garage will be offered at all 13 GNCC rounds, incorporating local AMSOIL vendors, to provide the ultimate customer service experience.

The AMSOIL Garage will be adjoined to KR4 Performance in Sponsor Village and be easily accessible for fans and racers alike. It will offer a safe haven for racers looking to make minor mechanical changes to their machine before heading onto the race course. In addition, racers will be able to bring used oil from home to properly dispose of in an oil drum.

Along with the opportunity to aid all event participants, the AMSOIL Garage will be hosting various events to help give everyone the competitive edge from the mechanical experts themselves.
