Torrot GasGas NA Inc. is happy to announce the signing of Fred Andrews Racing (FAR) from Ohio to manage the GasGas Factory Racing effort for the Grand National Cross-Country (GNCC) series and National Enduro series for 2018 and 2019.

Fred Andrews has a powerful history in the sport of off-road racing, with years of race team management following many years of his own successful racing efforts at the highest level. Andrews’ wealth of knowledge and experience will be a great asset for GasGas in North America as we move forward with our own racing and development efforts.

FAR management has already been hard at work creating a solid support structure for our factory riders. Andrew Delong (GNCC and NEPG), Thorn Devlin (NEPG), and the team is ready for the race season to start.

In addition to supporting our two Factory Racers on the East Coast, FAR will be supporting Nick Davis in GNCC and NEPG. Davis has been training and riding the new 2018 XC250, and he can’t wait to show everyone his renewed excitement to race competitively in the GNCC XC2 and NEPG
NE Pro 2 divisions.

GasGas is also proud to announce our first North American female supported racer.  Korie Steede will be aboard the all-new XC200 in the WXC Pro Class at the GNCCs in 2018!  New to the class but not new to racing, Korie has grown up riding and racing offroad and motocross, and she is looking forward to the new challenge that full-time GNCC racing brings.

“We have been working towards the goal of a Factory Racing effort at the GNCCs since Torrot GasGas North America’s inception in 2016, and we can’t be happier with the team we have built through the winter,” Mark Berg commented.  “We would like to thank our current sponsors for their continued support, and we are excited about the new sponsors that have helped us reach our goals for a full commitment in 2018.  Without them supporting our efforts, this wouldn’t be possible.”
